My research interests mostly focus on methodological aspects in statistics, heterogeneous data analysis,  spatio-temporal modeling, spatial point processes, mechanistic-statistical modeling, dispersal models, epidemiological models, outbreak reconstruction from genomic data. I apply the approaches I develop to characterize, infer and predict spread of diseases and pests, particle dispersal, pathogen emergence, biodiversity dynamics... based on heterogeneous data (from molecular sequences to disease-monitoring and environmental data).
